Opportunity:

We’re currently seeking experienced arboriculture consultants to take on a senior arboriculture consultant role in Manchester, working for a major multidisciplinary environmental firm. As the new senior arboriculture consultant, you’ll be taking the lead on a variety of engaging projects and providing expert advice to clients on issues relating to trees and development. On top of that, as the new senior arboriculture consultant, you’ll be able to enjoy a 4-day work at 5-day pay! This means every week you’ll have a 3-day weekend and more time to spend on personal growth, with loved ones or just decompressing and doing things you enjoy. You’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple sectors including renewables, residential & commercial property and infrastructure to name a few.

Responsibility:

As the new senior arboriculture consultant, your responsibilities will include the following:

* Leading on arboriculture projects and planning policy.
* Submitting planning documents for various reports such as TPO work applications, AIAs and Method Statements.
* Mentoring and guiding the junior staff members.
* Acting as a professional point of contact for clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

To be considered for this senior arboriculture consultant role, you’ll need to meet as much of the following as possible:

* Strong experience with BS5837 consultancy and arboricultural planning.
* Hold an academic qualification in arboriculture or similar subject related to the environment.
* Hold (at least) a technical membership with the Arboriculture Association.
* Experience working directly with clients and networking within the sector.
* Hold a keen interest in the technical aspects of arboriculture and how they relate to the UK planning system.
* Ideally have at least 3 years of experience working within arboriculture.
