Project Landscape Architect

An award-winning, design-led landscape architecture and masterplanning practice is seeking a talented Project Landscape Architect to join its growing team. The practice is known for its collaborative, people-focused ethos and for delivering high-quality, sustainable design across a wide range of development sectors including residential, mixed-use, strategic land, and infrastructure.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of smaller-scale projects while supporting senior team members on larger, more complex schemes. The role offers hands-on involvement at all project stages — from early concept design through to detailed design and delivery — providing excellent exposure to the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Lead the delivery of small to medium-scale landscape projects independently, managing client and consultant relationships.
*

Support senior staff on the design and coordination of larger, multidisciplinary projects.
*

Produce high-quality design outputs including concept proposals, planning submissions, technical drawings, and tender packages.
*

Contribute to internal design reviews and support the wider team with creative and technical input.
*

Participate in site visits, client meetings, and coordination with external consultants and local authorities.

Ideal Candidate:

*

A degree in Landscape Architecture and on track for or already holding CMLI professional accreditation.
*

Previous experience working within a UK-based landscape or design consultancy.
*

Proficient in design and documentation software (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp; Revit and GIS are beneficial).
*

Strong graphic and written communication skills with an eye for detail.
*

Confident working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
*

Enthusiastic about sustainable, place-led design and contributing to the public realm.

Additional Information:

*

Flexible working available across multiple UK studios, including hybrid options.
*

Structured support for career progression, chartership, and ongoing CPD.
*

Friendly, inclusive studio culture that values creativity, collaboration, and a healthy work-life balance.
