This is your chance to dive into exciting projects, including sustainability strategy development and auditing, energy and resource (water, waste, transport, materials) site auditing, and carbon footprint and net-zero action plan development. You'll also engage in waste management and circular economy initiatives, ESG and other sustainability framework reporting, and environmental management and assessment tools (such as ISO standards and Lifecycle Assessment).

This role offers a fantastic mix of desk-based work and client-facing responsibilities, ensuring excellent project delivery and top-notch customer service. You will be at the forefront of driving sustainability initiatives, making a real impact in the industry.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have an Honours or Master’s Degree in fields such as Science, Environmental Management, Engineering, Sustainability, Waste, Energy, Business, Quality Management, or similar disciplines. Membership in a Professional Institute, like IEMA, is highly regarded and showcases your commitment to the field.

Experience and Skills:

We're looking for someone with 1-4 years of experience in business, industrial, or consultancy settings, particularly in data management, report writing, solution research, and project delivery to meet performance KPIs. Graduates with relevant work experience and sustainability skills are also encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- A proven track record in delivering environmental and sustainability projects.
- Strong organizational, logical, and structured thinking, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and training/facilitation skills.
- Strong numeracy and data analysis/interpretation abilities, paired with business acumen.
- Creative thinking and a knack for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional software packages, particularly Excel.
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills considered a bonus.

Compensation:

Salary will be competitive and based on your qualifications, experience, and the specific requirements of the position.

This role is perfect for someone passionate about sustainability and eager to make a difference. You'll join a supportive and innovative team, working on projects that shape the future of environmental and sustainability practices. If you're ready to take on a new challenge and thrive in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply and be part of this exciting journey towards a sustainable future!
