Wessex Water supplies water to 1.3 million people in the south west and treats waste for 2.7 million customers. Our scientists are important members of the operations team ensuring the sites achieve the required quality standards in the most efficient manner. 

You will be focussed on providing support to Network teams for pollution events. You will ensure correct response on the ground, helping with the Environmental Agency, evidence gathering, training and technical support to field teams when dealing with network pollutions. 

You will be an excellent communicator helping to engage and educate on the importance of pollution and flooding prevention. 

Ideally you will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a science or engineering based subject with experience of the Water Industry. You will need to hold a full driving licence.
